Description
This is an introductory course about BIM softwares, a two-hour module that gives a general overview of the functioning of the famous software for modeling in BIM.
The course deals with theoretical topics (meaning of BIM, differences between CAD design and BIM design), as well as practical topics (how the BIM softwares interface works, explanation of the families, the basic units of design with this software).
The BIM method – or the digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility – is a cutting-edge design method, which minimizes errors and maximizes efficiency.
For these reasons it will be increasingly adopted in the future. The USA, UK and Northern Europe have already adopted it since many years, and it will grow to play an even more crucial role in building documentation in the future.
After the introductory course, we recommend enrolling in our complete BIM softwares course (lasting 17 hours) to acquire complete knowledge of the software and to be able to carry out any type of project independently.
